Friends, in collaboration with the good folks at InsideHigherEd.com and American Jewish University, I today am launching a short, zippy, weekly podcast called The Syllabus. It’s about campus political debates. Episode #1 features Conor Friedersdorf, of The Atlantic magazine, talking about his October 14 article, “Students for Pogroms in Israel: By excusing murder and kidnapping, activist groups have already changed campus politics in America.” It’s a great conversation, with a great guy.
Would you please subscribe to this podcast now, on Apple Podcasts (see button below) or Spotify or whatever your preferred platform is? Right now? It’s free, and easy, and if all of you subscribe right now, it will give this new project of mine a major bump in the algorithms and get it out there for people to hear. In upcoming weeks, I’ll be talking with a Princeton undergraduate who has no smartphone or social media, asking her how that changes her view of campus politics, and I’ll be talking with David French of The New York Times, about Liberty University. Will you please subscribe?
Also, while I have you and am in self-promotion mode, today at 3pm EDT I will be talking with 60 Minutes’s Jon Wertheim about my book about the Tree of Life shootings. It’s on Zoom and you can sign up here.
