Agree completely. Though the distinction between New Haven and St. Paul eludes me. At 13 I moved from Newton to MPLS and the blessings of the upper Midwest prairie included a lawn that might have been an extra in THE PHILADELPHIA STORY. Never ending piles of leaves to rake a tennis court to take care of and and much more snow to shovel. My kids still love to hear my tales of Little House on the Prairie. Here’s to evading child labor practices at least domestically
My kids have often asked why we don’t have a robot vacuum, like other families apparently do. We tell them that if robots did everything, what would be the point of us humans? We’re only partly joking... And so, vacuuming remains a regular chore in our (New England) home. It’s also the consequence for the kids if they dare to say “bored” twice!
AMEN.
Acutally didnt mean to imply a distinction between NH and St Paul (though more ice fishing there).
